Dear Friends,
The Edgewood Symphony Orchestra welcomes you to our exciting new season. Our musical destination is Paris! Explore the majestic grandeur of Franck’s Symphony in D, the magic of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice, the passion and tragedy of Carmen, and the impressionistic dreams of the Faun by Debussy. Join us in a year-long celebration of the most intoxicating French music, culminating with the haunting visions of Symphonie Fantastique, the programmatic masterpiece which transformed Romanticism for all of Europe. As part of this Gallic celebration we are delighted to bring you the incredible performances of our own ESO soloists Galina Istomin, Barbara Folb, Susan Wagner and Peggy Greb. We look forward to seeing you.
Vive la France!
