Kimberly Steinhauer - Vocalist

Kimberly Steinhauer has devoted her entire career to the voice - in song, education, and research. As a singer, she has been employed in a variety of musical settings ranging from musical theater to opera to sacred music. Recently, she has been heard as a "Walküre" in Opera Theater of Pittsburgh's Ring Saga and featured soloist with the Musician's concert Band. As a voice educator, she has taught in venues ranging from the public school to the university setting. As a Research Health Scientist for the VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, she is principal investigator for her federal grant studying the impact of feedback techniques on the effectiveness of voice training and therapy. As singing Voice Specialist, Kimberly works collaboratively with medical teams to tailor exercises and repertoire specifically for singers of all ages who have experienced vocal injury. And, as CEO of Vocal Innovations she provides unique educational software resources for voice training and rehabilitation. She most enjoys vocalizing with her husband, Timothy, and talented sons, Luke and Nathan.
