Peter Sullivan, Trombone soloist

Peter Sullivan came to the Pittsburgh Symphony during the 1999-2000 season. In 1985 he joined the Montreal Symphony and in 1990 was appointed Principal by Maestro Charles Dutoit. Before that, he  was a member of the Calgary Philharmonic, and the Toronto Symphony.

Peter Sullivan is a native of Timmins, Ontario. He studied at Ottawa and McGill universities as well as the Aspen School of Music. Peter and his wife Melanie have two children, Timmy and Amy.
